1. Simple Calorie Reduction without Calorie Counting

If you seriously want to lose weight then some kind of calorie control is needed. Traditional calorie counting diets are, quite frankly, hard work because you have to count the calories for everything you eat.

The Celebrity Slim program is almost like calorie counting without actually have to actually count calories. You will consume between 1200-1400 calories per day in the Trim phase. This will be less than the amount you normally consume but you will still feel energised because you will be eating better quality natural foods and burning fat.

2. Controlling Carbohydrates

The Trim phase decreases your daily carbohydrate intake from an average of 250-250g to 90-150g and you will learn how to choose better quality low GI carbohydrates.

3. Choose Good Fats

Your overall fat consumption will be reduced while still ensuring you will consume sufficient quantities of essential 'good fats' necessary for healthy body function.

4. Protein at Each Meal

Helps to satisfy hunger and provides adequate protein for lean muscle maintenance. 

5. Better Food Choices

Not all carbohydrates and fats are created equal - some are better choices than others. We include low GI carbohydrates in our Program and a list of healthy fat options.

6. Plenty of Fruit and Vegetables

We recommend you consume 2 low GI fruits and a minimum of 3 servings of vegetables per day to help increase your vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and fibre intake.

7. Increased Fibre

Celebrity Slim meals and snacks have increased fibre to help you stay fuller for longer. Be aware, most fibre comes from high carbohydrate foods such as breads, cereals and rice. While you are in the weight loss phase you will be controlling your carbohydrate intake and avoiding these foods.

8. Portion Size

This is an important component of the Program. Smaller and more regular portion sizes means we do not over-consume in one meal and we spread our intake throughout the day. The Celebrity Slim Program provides guidelines to help you control your portion sizes.

9. Water

Water suppresses the appetite and helps your body metabolise stored fat. You should aim to drink 2 litres of water each day.
