Hmmm a bit about me… I am a 36 yr old mother of 2 plus 3 step children. I have been overweight since I was 16, obese for my entire adult life. From my starting weight I have 65.7 kg to lose to be in a healthy weight range. That figure is staggering and intimidating. When I first came to that figure, it seemed so far away, not possible. Two weeks in I have lost 4.5kg, so am on my way. At the moment my goals are meal my meal, day by day – to stay on the program and not to cheat. In just the first 2 weeks of the CS program I am learning what portion sizes are realistic and ratios of protein/vegies/carbs are going to help me to get to the weight I need to be, and maintain it (not trying to sounds like and advert for the program haha). Below isn’t a list of reasons I had to lose, but things I have thought of or read since I started this journey.

Things I’m looking forward to…
1) Walking and exercising without my thighs rubbing together
2) My body matching my attitude
3) Being able to ride horses again
4) Riding a bike without people staring
5) Riding a bike and being able to sit down after getting off the bike (badly placed bruises lol)
6) Going to the doctors and not getting the ‘you need to lose weight’ speech
7) Actually choosing my clothes, not just what fits
8) Finding a style that is ‘me’
9) Not feeling like people are looking at my hubby and myself and wondering ‘why is he with her?’
10) Being in a healthy weight range for the first time in 20 years
11) Being able to help other people to lose weight
12) Riding our motorbikes on the dirt circuit
13) Buying long boots and having them fit my calves
14) Looking in the wardrobe and knowing the clothes in there will fit
15) Going into ‘skinny’ shops and not feeling out of place
16) Buying some nice lingerie
17) Being able to get cute costumes for fancy dress parties off ebay that aren’t marked XXXXXXXL
18) Buying a nice pair of jeans, from a real jeans shop, for the first time in my life
19) Owning my first bikini (and have it look hot good)
This is a work in progress and I will add more as I think of them

I gots me a ticker...Yay!
I wasn't feeling any loss this week, even though I have stuck to the program. It's been super easy this week, prolly because my gorgeous hubby has jumped on board with me, which has forced me to be more inventive with our meals. We had beef and vegies shishkebabs last night, with a marinade I made myself - It's nice to know exactly what is in the food you put in your body. I wanted to see if I had lost at all, and yay I have! Monday is my weigh in day so the scales should be friendly haha

Goals
To Lose – 65.7kg
1st goal – survive first week – DONE!
2nd goal – 10kg loss
3rd goal – 10 % loss
4th goal – double figures!
5th goal – 2004 weight
6th and above goals…TBA

I love your "Things I'm looking forward to" list
There are a few there that I can relate to (as I am sure most of us can)
Keep up the excellent work !

What a great idea making a list, you've inspired me to start thinking about what should be on my own list

Hey thanks
Had a great weekend, went camping, picked blackberries (and definately ate more than half a cup while I was picking haha) and just spending time with my beautiful man.
I have a couple more for The List...
20) At my 20 year high school reunion next year, be slim enough to feel comfortable
21) To be able to actually admit my weight in conversation with other women
22) If people are talking about diets I won't feel that they are talking about me, at least not in a negative way
23) Rather than just doing zumba in my loungeroom I will do classes and maybe make some new friends
If you have any things that you are 'Looking Forward To', please add them to the list, I would love to hear them

Got a new 10 day box today, yay new flavours I have been starving again today, made a delicious iced green tea, hopefully it will up my losses a bit. I put ginger and goji berries in it, so yum.
No exercise today, too hot. I defrosted the freezer cos its the coolest place in the house haha
I am thinking of getting a tattoo when I reach my goal of healthy weight range, a permanent reminder of what I've acheived, and it will also be a reminder not to let myself slip again. Not sure what I would get yet.
27) Get my new tatt
28) Have my exsisting tatts shrink back to their normal and intended size haha

The one best thing to look forward to for me was to have nothing to hide.
It's very liberating.
Cheers
