Hey girls,

I have hit a massive plateau. :( I have admittedly not been perfect on my diet but still not been super bad by all means. as of next week  I am upping my exercise and doing my first PT session to hopefully give my body that kick in the ass that it needs!

I really want to lose 5kgs in the next 5 weeks to look good in my dress for the races on my b'day, & I need your help for tips/ideas and the motivation to get there!

I am also going to try and make sure my diet is spot on and exercise sometimes twice a day to see if that helps!

I'm with you every step of the way, Jezz. Maybe it's time to get new batteries for our pedometers and 'hoof it!'

I want to get back in control too. I think my downfall is the 2 m&ms or the half a cookie or the bite of quiche......it all adds up!

And with restricted swimming, I need to get my walking shoes on and get going instead of coming home and sulking lol!

So let's kick it Diva style and show the scales who the boss is!

Cheers

I HEAR YOU BUDDY!

I think my pedometer is broken tho. :(

But This week I am going to make more of an effort! I have set out a gym plan & am going to stick to it!

Mon: CX WORKS - resistance bands and core strengthening.

Tues: Morning cardio

Wed: PT SESSION -OUCH!

Thurs: BODY JAM

Fri: Morning cardio

Sat: BODY PUMP

SUN: REST, tho will probably walk the dog 45mins.

I figure if i stick to that i should see some results and hopefully mixing up the morning and night exercise too!

Diet I think I need to just simplify it, i think the more i try to create new dinners i possible hide carbs in there without even knowing. :( So back to basics for me, even if it means i eat something different to dan!

I will continue my special k for breaky instead of a shake as i am trying to save money and use it for PT, i figure its a pretty fair swap!

I have noticed that my shape has been changing still even tho the scales aren't moving. :( But I also have a couple of low carb shakes hiding in the cupboard that i might try to get my weight moving.

Thanks for the support Buddy!

Ditto Jezz - It's so much easier when there's someone else facing the same challenge.

Just aiming for CONTROL! My angelic day yesterday did not register on the scales this morning but I'll just stick with my 24hour delay theory, as far as weight goes, which is a good incentive to JUST KEEP GOING!

Your workouts sound brilliant - it follows that you're getting nice and buff even if the scales don't see that.

Well tonight we are having lamb roast for dinner, potatoes and sweet potato for the hubby & Roast zucchini and carrot for me with some steamed vege. I might have a little piece of pumpkin but def no spuds!

I have recorded my daily meal plan in myfitnesspal and online it tells you how many carbs/fat/protein you should be aiming for and today it looks pretty good, my cals are where they should be, I have carbs and fat remaining and went just a little over in protein, but i think thats the best one to go over on!

I have some cleaning to do, then if the weatherh holds out maybe wash the car and take our dog for a walk, if not then it will be some at home cardio. :)

I also have some baking to do for a MT tomor, some zucchini slice and mini quiches i will try to be good and only have one small slice of zucchini slice and 1 mini quiche as my lunch tomor instead of a shake. I will make the quiches mini muffin size so they will be super small, lol.

Gosh Jezz I think you're psychic! We have roast lamb for tea too - spuds, sweet potato, beans and prob salad for me - I also have baking to do (just cos I need to chill) coconut chocolate cake and DEF none for me! I also have a filthy little car that needs a bath. I have to laugh when a bird leaves a message on the back window all over my "Such Is Life" sticker.

Might start the cake, then wash the car while it cooks.

18year old has gone all Ozzie Osbourne on us again - I'm so over this drama drama drama we get from him. Too much TV maybe? Hubby has also ticked me off by doing the washing - I know I know...I should appreciate it but he only does it as a token gesture and then pegs is up all scrunched.

I will exact revenge.....I will peg out the next load and all his undies will be pegged up by the crutch. For some perverse reason, I always feel a little better when i do that heehee!

Happy carwashing, baking and roasting.

nawww, jezz you WILL succeed with your goal. ill be here all the way to support ya.

i just wish i could be doing it with ya, but only 10 more days till little miss is due so give it another 4-6 weeks after that and ill be able to get back on the CS bandwagon. yayyy!!!! cant wait. i have approx 10 weeks worth of cs here stocked up as we no longer have priceline here in gladdy so i always get a 10 day box and at least 4 other products when i go to rocky for antenatal.

unfortunatly i have gained all my weight back plus some with this pregnancy, im currently at 131kg. only 5kg lower than my highest weight ever, and i WILL NOT let myself get to that again. but im not going to do a proper weigh in until after bub is born and i can start CS again.

i think 5kg in 5 weeks is completely doable and i reckon you will smash that goal. going back to basics is the way to go i think. and maybe using up the low carb shakes will help a little too.

good luck jezz and keep us all updated.
