Dinner: What ever is made for me lol but i dont eat any carbs with dinner but weekends I have some Potato

Snack: Only sometimes I have this but i have 2 to 4 cups of none buttered popcorn.

I havent lost any weight this week but i have lost an inch of my hips/belly.

Losing inches is always fantastic, nicely done BeKa<3.Laughing Sometimes losing inches, but no weight, means you've lost fat, but gained some muscle.

When on my first round of cs {(20kg loss), currently trying to lose the last 10 to make it 30}, i found that if i ate more than 1 piece of fruit a day, and sometimes more than 5 pieces in a week, i would maintain or gain weight. Now this isn't what happens with everyone, but i found when i switched my apple/orange out for some protein (either nuts, tuna, cottage cheese) i had a better loss at the end of the week, and felt more satiated throughout the day.

Plus not meaning to nag, but i'm pretty sure popcorn is a non allowable food until in the maintenance phase. But if only having the small amount you are having, is helping to keep other cravings at bay, then i wouldn't worry too much about omitting it.

Sorry i couldn't be of more help. I'm sure if you keep at it, the results will show, and you'll be shedding the fat in no time.

And I must have got the popcorn thing from Tony Ferg. oops I will stop eatting that too.

Thanks so much for your help.

Beka if tuna is not your thing, any cold lean deli meat is good. At woolies in the pre-packed deli meat section, you can get little snack packs of ham or corned beef or chicken, and they are 5 packs for $5 atm. I freeze them and pop one bag on the morning. By morning tea time they are nice and cold and perfectly defrosted.

Cheese is good. I keep mine very strictly portion controlled as I LOVE cheese too much. I love sardines too but I am assuming that, as you're not a tuna fan, sardines would be off the menu too?

It's magic stuff, the protein snacks. They really do fill you up and defuse any imminent food blow-outs.

Cheers

Nuts are good, but only 30g a day. They are my personal downfall, i have to be very strict with my portions.
Also i really enjoy some blueberries(or other fruit; maybe some nuts as well) in some cottage/ricotta cheese, dusted with some cinnamon is a great afternoon snack. These have a higher protein percentage than other cheeses.

Sliced ham, or left over cold meats from dinner the night before. Boiled eggs. I usually combine any of these with vege sticks, or lettuce leaves to fill me up.

Cheers

very interesting ot hear all of ur snack! I did CS about 3 yrs ago and lost 20kg but now after having my beautiful bubba girl i am now unfortunately right back up to the scary number i was faced with before i lost my 20kgs :( so now  that im on maternity leave and home most of the time i am finding that i am eating for the sake of it which is why ur snack ideas are amazing to hear! My friend lost 35kgs not doing CS but pretty much the same thing and her snack ideas really sucked! But one thing she is trying to drum in my head is GREEN TEA. Do any of you drink it? My friend swears by it, it fills u up and gets rid of cravings and on a plus side it flushes ur system out... Is Vegimite a big NO NO? Im so tempted to cut some celery up and dip it in :)

My morning snack is almost always an apple. Apples are sweet, filling, and full of fibre, so a super way to start the day! My afternoon snack is usually some cheese, or deli meat, or nuts. My dinners are usually recipes from this site, there's loads of fantastic ones on here!

Not sure about the Vegemite, but have you tried hummus? Super nice with veggies, especially celery, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

I am a tea lover, I usually have about 2-3 cups per day (breakfast tea in the morning). If you want to try green tea, why not try Jasmine green tea, or peppermint green tea?
